This time, I’d like to introduce a smartphone application I created, My Metronome Timer.

A metronome is essential for practicing musical instruments, isn’t it? I myself play the guitar as a hobby, and I used to use a metronome for my daily practice. However, while practicing with a metronome is important, it can be a bit boring at times.
I want to continue practicing with the metronome, but I need to concentrate. I was thinking about how I could do that.
In my search, I tried to set a time limit for metronome practice. For example, five minutes, ten minutes.
Then I was able to concentrate on it much better. It’s the same principle as studying during commuting or working on an assignment that is due soon. Humans are able to concentrate better when there is a limit.
However, there were not many apps released in the world that combined a metronome and a timer in a smartphone app. So I decided to develop one myself.
The first version only had a metronome and stopwatch function, but now it has a timer function as well. We also increased the number of sounds to three. As for the time signature, multiple settings are also possible.
The time limit of the timer is also saved in the device, so you can practice at the same time the next time you start it.
The Framework is based on Flutter, which is cross-platform, so we’ve released the app for both iOS and Android. Each app has the same functions, so you can use either app without any difference in feel.
The concept of the app is simplicity, so it will be easy to make practicing with the metronome a habit.
We hope you will use it for your daily practice.
