Otomo Inu respects your privacy. This policy explains what information the app uses, how it is stored, and how you can contact us.

Walk Records 見出しへのリンク

Otomo Inu stores information you create while using the app, including:

Walk date and time
Walk duration
Pause and resume intervals
Optional notes you add to a walk
Earned milestone badges

Companion Information 見出しへのリンク

Otomo Inu stores the companion name, selected dog breed, and the date you started using the app.

Apple Health Step Counts 見出しへのリンク

If you choose to allow access, Otomo Inu reads step-count data from Apple Health during your walks.

Apple Health access is optional. Otomo Inu works without it.

Otomo Inu does not write any data to Apple Health. It does not access your location, heart rate, workouts, medical records, or other Health data.

Otomo Inu stores app settings on your device, such as notification preferences, Health access choices, and haptic-feedback settings.

How Information Is Stored 見出しへのリンク

Walk records, notes, companion details, badges, and app settings are stored on your device.

When iCloud is available, Otomo Inu syncs completed walk records, notes, companion details, and earned badges to your private iCloud account using Apple CloudKit.

Step counts, Health access settings, notification settings, haptic settings, and active walks are not synced to CloudKit.

Otomo Inu does not:

Collect location data
Use advertising networks
Use third-party analytics services
Sell personal information
Create user accounts
Require an app-specific login
Track you across apps or websites

Otomo Inu does not share your data with third parties.

Information synced through CloudKit is stored in your private iCloud account and is accessible only through your Apple account and devices authorized to use it.

Deleting Data 見出しへのリンク

You can delete individual completed walk records in the app.

Deleting a walk removes it from your device and, when iCloud sync is available, from synced devices. Earned milestone badges may remain in the app after related walk records are deleted.

To remove all local app data, delete Otomo Inu from your device. iCloud-synced data may remain subject to your Apple iCloud settings and Apple’s data-retention practices.
